I posted my first deviation.. feel free to criticize! Or however you spell the bloody word.. e_e;

My sister, who lives in Georgia and is a university student, came over for over a month for spring break. Well, time went and flew by swiftly, so on Saturday we drove her up to Portland, because Sunday she had to go on her flight. Well, Saturday was good. Jammin' to the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack, singing along, listening to my sister's horrid voice; good times. Anywoo, we all go to bed early at the Hampton Inn because we had to get up at 4AM. Why? She had to be ready to leave by 5:20 so that we could get on the shuttle and she would have enough time to get through security so she would not be late. Curse run-on sentences...
Aaaaanyways...

It's Sunday. Mom wakes up at 3AM and starts getting around. My sister and I? We were rocks: dead asleep. So we get up at 4AM because of the wake-up call. MJ goes to take her shower, I get dressed, and we're all set. We grab MJ's ninety-pound suitcases and head off to the airport! Everything's fine and dandy. MJ makes it through the baggage line with no problems. MJ would board 7:50 AM and get home around 5:30ish PM her time, so it would be 2:30ish in Oregon time. Well, Mom and I went home.

So, when we got home, we cleaned the apartment. My room has a floor again! Hallelujah! Anyways, I went online after that. My friend, Lani, logged on. As usual it started out as, "Hey! What's up?" Ya know, the usual chit-chat. Then we go into this long, hour and a half discussion. I was nearly in tears by the end of the conversatin, when my luverly mate logs on. He helped me get through my mood.

2:30 PM passes. It was 3PM before my mom started calling. Around 4PM she told me to get off the computer. She called Delta airlines, and they being the Southern idiots they were, barely helped her at all. She called the shuttles, the Atlanta Airport Police, and they were hardly any help either. So Mom is becoming frantic. I, already nerve-racked from the conversation with Lani earlier, decided to watch Finding Nemo to calm myself. So MJ's lost to us, Mom's freaking out, I'm worried as hell and also freaking out, she's crying, and I'm somehow managing to keep control when I go and take my shower. Calms me down. As soon as I get out, guess who called? MJ! Man I was bloody relieved. Turned out her flight was delayed because of the weather, and then the plane flew all over the place. They ran out of fuel, so they had to stop in Alabama and refuel. When she got back, she was hungry. She called up a friend, after trying to call us on a cellphone(line was busy because of Mom's frantic phonecalls), and they went to eat. She went shopping for school, and then she went to her dorm, where she was informed that she was to call her mom. She called, and both Mom and I were relieved.

All and all it has been an EXTREMELY sucky day...
